Our Missional Purpose
At STBC, being a church means two things. First, we’re missional—we long to see people come into a life-changing relationship with God through faith in
Jesus Christ.
Second, we’re committed to living out that faith in community. Our love for one another shows up in everyday life—sharing meals, praying and serving together, raising our kids in the faith, celebrating joys, walking through sorrows, and above all, glorifying the Father and exalting the Son together.

What’s in a name? For us at Santa Teresa Baptist Church, it means being a neighborhood church with a heart to share the gospel of Jesus right here in our community. Our beliefs are rooted in the Bible and shaped by a long history of Baptists who desired to faithfully follow Christ. We connect with the early Southern Baptists who came together in 1845, and we carry that same passion today—to see genuine faith, worship, and renewal spread throughout the SBC and beyond, as God leads.
